The Challenge

Dental marketing in Vancouver is a bloodbath.
Every corner has a clinic. Smile A Lot Dental Centre needed to cut through the noise without ballooning their budget.

The Fix

The first step was getting rid of their old, clunky, user and SEO-unfriendly website. By redesigning the website from the ground up, I was able to implement a clean, modern full-fledged website design, complete with responsive intuitive layouts, that was optimized for both users and search engines. The result was a 137% increase in organic traffic within the first month. And 213% increase in 2 months.

Next, the goal was redefined by stopping to try and rank for everything. Instead, we went narrow. We optimized the Google Business Profile for specific, high-intent emergencies. Moreover, involved pruning of low quality social media content that was diluting the brand's online presence and authority.

Finally, I implemented a rigorous Google Ads strategy that focused on high-intent keywords and negative keyword matching to reduce budget leaks and increase conversion rates.

The result was a 24% increase in booked appointments while reducing ad spend by 15%.

Other Pieces of Work

Created Business Cards, Posters, Review Request Cards with QR Codes, Sympathy Cards, and Greeting Cards for the clinic, all of which were designed with a consistent visual identity and tone that aligned with the brand's values and target audience.

The Goal

To reclaim privacy from corporate silos. By running a Synapse homeserver, I own my chat logs and metadata.

I configured a Coturn TURN server to bypass NAT restrictions, enabling high-definition video and voice calls over cellular networks without routing data through third-party servers.

The Build

A true alternative to streaming giants. I deployed Jellyfin to manage a multi-terabyte library of media.

The system utilizes Hardware Acceleration (VAAPI/NVENC) to transcode high-bitrate video in real-time, ensuring smooth playback on low-bandwidth connections (like 4G) while maintaining 4K quality on the local network.

The Logic

Google Photos is convenient, but it trains models on your memories. Immich offers the same convenience—but completely self-hosted.

I configured a Microservices Architecture using Redis for caching and a dedicated Machine Learning container that performs facial clustering and object detection without the data ever leaving my server.
